As a Customer Care Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers start their holiday with ease and excitement. You will encounter a diverse range of situations, from assisting with bookings to offering last-minute advice, making your work both varied and rewarding.


YOUR RESPONSABILITIES

As a Customer Care Specialist, your responsibilities will span across all brands of the Sunweb Group, including the Dutch, English, and Flemish markets. Here’s how you will contribute to our mission:

  • Customer interaction: Handle all pre-holiday customer inquiries through phone, email, and social media channels, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Expert advice: Offer guidance and recommendations to customers as they plan their holidays, helping them make informed booking decisions.
  • Booking management: Process new holiday bookings and manage changes or cancellations to existing reservations with efficiency and care.
  • Problem solving: Address and resolve any pre-travel issues or complaints, ensuring a positive experience for our customers.
  • Brand representation: Embody the values of Sunweb Group across all interactions, creating a seamless and personalised customer journey.


YOUR ONBOARDING

To help you, you will begin with an 8-day training at the Cygnific office in Amsterdam. You must be available full-time during this period. After your training, you can always turn to your colleagues for questions or help; our dedicated mentors are also here to support and guide you whenever needed!

OUR OFFER

  • A 7-month contract with the prospect of permanent employment.
  • Position for 32 to 40 hours a week.
  • A competitive salary of 13,80 EUR per hour + irregularity allowances.

Job requirements

WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS POSITION

  • A completed education (a background in tourism and/or a passion for travel is a plus).

  • You are customer-focused and results-oriented.

  • You handle stress well and enjoy working in a dynamic and international environment.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.

  • You are proficient with computers and comfortable using various systems.

  • Fluent in Dutch/Flemish and a good command of the English language.

  • You enjoy giving constructive feedback and contributing to the growth of our future organisation.

  • You are flexible and available to work evenings and weekends: Working hours are Monday through Friday from 09:00 to 20:00, and Saturday and Sunday from 09:00 to 17:00, according to a rotating schedule. Your schedule will be provided one month in advance, including evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays (with Sundays generally on a voluntary basis).
