Job description

Are you a Learning & Development specialist with a passion for people, performance, and continuous improvement? Do you thrive in a dynamic, international environment? Then this opportunity might be the perfect next step for you.

At Cygnific, we are looking for a temporary Learning & Development Specialist who is energised by collaboration, innovation, and fostering a culture of growth and quality. You’ll work within our L&D team in an environment where people matter, and impact is real.

What will you be doing as a Learning & Development Specialist at Cygnific?

The L&D Specialist designs, develops, monitors, and adjusts learning interventions to ensure that our customer service agents meet the qualitative and quantitative requirements of their operational performance. As L&D Specialist, you advise on the best ways to implement new learning strategies.

You are the first contact person for external parties that are part of the L&D domain, such as tool suppliers. The L&D Specialist ensures that tooling is used to its fullest potential and supports trainers in doing so as well.

You are part of a team of (senior) trainers and other stakeholders, continuously improving training methods and learning interventions. You ensure that proper evaluations are part of our way of working and that collected data is translated into new standards. You set an example within the organisation by continuously learning yourself and acting flexibly in response to change.

Your key tasks
• Support the translation of the Cygnific Learning Strategy into renewed learning interventions
• Guide a proper intake process that helps translate business needs into the right learning interventions
• Support a modular, up-to-date, and flexible training setup for the product portfolio that connects to learning goals from Operations, Brands, and AFKL (CuSer)
• Drive the evaluation process throughout both the L&D team and Operations
• Evaluate the quality of learning materials across various platforms
• Actively participate in Cygnific projects, representing the area of L&D
• Act as connector towards external partners and learning platforms

Your main responsibilities

  1. Learning portfolio
Ensure that all learning interventions meet the organisation’s learning goals and that the quality of all interventions is aligned and standardised according to consistent didactical standards and concepts.

  2. Intake and feedback process
Develop, maintain, and execute a solid intake and feedback process to ensure L&D continues to contribute to the learning environment of our operational colleagues—both for today’s learning goals and for future development needs.

  3. Learning tools & supplier communication
Ensure a timely and correct setup of trainings in the Learning Management System. Act as the first point of contact for questions about the LMS and e-learning/authoring tools for trainers, managers, and employees.

  4. Projects and programs
Define projects and programs and ensure their execution and implementation so that L&D instruments contribute effectively and efficiently to organisational needs.

  5. Continuous improvement
Identify and act upon process inefficiencies, propose improvements, and contribute to continuous optimisation of our L&D operations.

What do you bring?
• Higher vocational/university level, preferably in HRD or Learning Sciences
• At least 3 years of experience in the design, development, and delivery of learning programs
• Experience with project/program management
• Affinity with e-learning and LMS systems
• Experience with graphic design
• Fluent in English (written & spoken); fluent in Dutch is a plus
• Customer-focused and eager to make an impact
• Proactive, hands-on, and always looking to support your team and improve how things are done

• You are available at least 32 hours a week (36 or 40 is also possible)

What do we offer you?

• An hourly rate of up to EUR 89, depending on experience
• A hybrid working model – partly from home, partly from our beautifully renovated office in Amsterdam Westerpark
• Social events like the annual Cygnific BBQ, quarterly drinks, and our legendary Cygnific Unlimited party

• Period: December 1st (or earlier) until 30th of May
